Scope of Work

Transdisciplinary research for identification and knowledge acquisition with the following main topics: Sustainable agriculture, natural resource management, renewable energy, reduction of GHG emissions, management of waters and small islands, and traditional wisdom about sustainable natural resource management

A training program that supports the development of strategic leadership in academics, development policy makers, business actors and civil society

Seminars, workshops, conferences as a vehicle for acquisition, co-creation, and dissemination of knowledge

Publication of scientific articles and policy briefs as a vehicle for strengthening policies that create enabling conditions for sustainability

Development of Knowledge Management Information Systems as a vehicle for sorting, storing and disseminating knowledge

Development of a fellowship program to accelerate the production and exchange process knowledge and the formation of a new generation

Development of pilot programs as a vehicle for testing applications, transfer and evaluation of knowledge
