Dwi has over 16 years experience in combating wildlife trafficking, specialising in tiger, elephant, primates, pangolin, reptiles, birds and manta rays. His expertise includes: illegal wildlife trade crime prevention, crime scene investigation, community-based investigative techniques, data analysis, cybercrime monitoring, market surveys, law enforcement agency capacity building, strategic planning, developing targeted intelligence products, awareness raising and information dissemination.
He has trained >500 Indonesian government officials from the police, to prosecutors, judges, customs officials and civil servants, as well as providing similar support to equivalent agencies in multiple Latin American, Asian and African countries. Dwi uses his strong diplomatic skills to form partnerships with national and regional governments, and other institutions, to collaboratively combat wildlife trafficking.
